Sources
Where answers come from.
KnowCivics only uses sources we can name and you can check. This page lists every one.
Trust policy
A source is allowed when it is one of these:
- a government agency, legislature or court
- a central bank or official statistics office
- an intergovernmental body such as the IMF, World Bank, OECD or UN
- a named publisher of public records, shown with its attribution below
News articles, opinion, think tanks, advocacy groups, wikis and anonymous sites are not used. We add a source only after review, and this list changes when we do.
